More About Dominick

Dominick Liacone currently serves as the “Voice of the Rangers” as the Broadcasting and Strategic Communications Graduate Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, the only NCAA Division II institution in the state of Wisconsin. Based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Liacone calls athletic events for all 14 varsity sports on campus on television via FLOCollege and on radio, while also producing weekly social media content and writing game previews and recaps for Parkside Athletics.

Liacone is a May 2025 graduate of Ball State University, where he earned a degree in Media with a concentration in Sports Production and a minor in Sport Administration. He is a proud alum of Ball State Sports Link, the nation’s only four-year academic program dedicated to live sports production and long-form storytelling centered on collegiate athletics.

During his time at Ball State, Liacone was involved in more than 50 ESPN+ productions across five Olympic sports, serving in both on-air and behind-the-scenes roles. He also spent two seasons as the official radio voice of Ball State women’s basketball.

His professional passions include sports play-by-play announcing and creating compelling, creative content that highlights athletes and teams. Liacone aspires to build a career in live sports production as a play-by-play announcer or producer.

Originally from Bolingbrook, Illinois, a southwest suburb of the Chicagoland area, Liacone continues to pursue opportunities that blend storytelling, broadcast excellence, and strategic sports media production.

Thanks for stopping by my site! I'd love to hear from you!
